I don't think he was fired coz he is back in KKK another serial he acts in Vijay TV. But it looks like he also followed Santhanam's footsteps and
went on to silver screen having acted in Kuruvi (Vijay's film) Not many can forget Bakkery spoof. His loss is a big loss for LS. thamizh wrote:

I find more pleasure in rewatching old Santhanam & Jeeva hits rather than new episodes with tht seriously-not-funny-but-irritating Maran (no personal offence to him though).
Can't agree with you more man. Vintage LS was so much fun and hope Vijay TV arrest this slump and bring it back on track.
